The Delta Tau Chapter of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta is located in Dallas, Texas on the Southern Methodist University Campus.

The Delta Tau Chapter of Phi Gamma Delta was installed at Southern Methodist University in December of 1948. The establishment of the chapter at the University was spearheaded by the Dallas Graduate Chapter. The graduates, Donald S. Newbury (Pennsylvania State '40) and H. Clark Etheridge (Texas '34), were accompanied by the undergraduate petitioners, Robert V. Lentz (Alabama '48, Southern Methodist '50), Arthur M. Baker (Southern Methodist '50) and John Edward May (Southern Methodist '50). The charter was granted to the Chapter at the 100th Ekklesia held in Pittsburgh.

	60th Anniversary Mixer at Hotel Palomar Location: SE corner of Mockingbird and North Central Expressway. Lobby bar. Format: Casual. Alums, undergrads, wives and dates Time: 6:30pm – 9:00pm Cost: Cash bar
Saturday March 28th	60th Anniversary Open House at the Fraternity House Location: 3064 SMU Blvd. (formerly 3064 Yale Blvd.). SMU campus Format: Casual. Alums, undergrads, wives, dates. Snacks and light refreshments Time: 4pm - 6pm Cost: No charge
	60th Anniversary Norris Pig Dinner at The Dallas Country Club Location: SE corner of Preston Rd. and Mockingbird Lane Format: Dinner, program including recognition of founders and presentation of Dr. Caswell portrait, dance band. Alums, undergrads, wives and dates. Attire: Jackets and ties for Brothers. Time: Cocktails at 6:30 (cash bar). Dinner at 7:30. Cost: $65 per person. ($130 per couple).
